You should also make a point to truly understand what the software is asking you to let it do. You should really be looking at apps like CMM or Onyx if you have really weird things happening that aren’t “cured” by a simple reboot (ie: have you turned it off and on again?”). And, Onyx by Titanium Software does many of the same things but is free.
That said, most people don’t need applications like CMM, others can do a lot of harm to their Macs by not paying attention to what you are asking CMM to do.
